Public Corruption

Our mission is to seek out and prosecute corruption by public officials and law enforcement officers as they are caretakers of the public trust affecting the lives and finances of the community.

About the Unit

Peter Lucido

Public corruption refers to the abuse of power and mismanagement of public resources by elected or appointed officials for personal gain. This type of corruption undermines the trust between the government and the citizens and has serious consequences as a whole.  Addressing public corruption is crucial for promoting transparency, integrity, and accountability in government, and for ensuring that public resources are used for the benefit of the entire community.
