Macomb County is fortunate to be served by some of the greatest police detectives throughout the nation – from local police departments to the State Police to the Sheriff’s department. The Prosecutor’s Office is privileged to work with these officers on a daily basis. The Cold Case Unit pairs dedicated prosecutors with these officers to comb through old files and re-examine unsolved murder cases in Macomb County, hoping to provide some measure of closure for the devastated families of these victims.
