Scam alert
Recently, we have taken reports of scams where victims are receiving phones calls from persons identifying themselves as employees of the Sheriff's Office.
Reminder, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office will NOT call you to collect any type of fees. The MCSO will not demand money, gift cards, bitcoin, or any other type of payment over the phone.
