In partnership with Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC), MCPED helped manufacturers obtain free I4.0 assessments of their operations along with a set of recommendations for how to begin making the transition.

MCPED has helped 25 companies and distributed more than $300,000 in matching implementation grant funding. With the help of that funding, Macomb County manufacturers purchased a variety of I.40 technology, including:

  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • 3D printers
  • Design, build, programming and integration services
  • Robotics and automation
  • Laser additive CNC spindle
