Directions to the courthouse
The 16th Judicial Circuit Court is located in two buildings on Main Street in downtown Mount Clemens, Michigan in the 48043 zip code.
The court house is located at 40 North Main Street and the Juvenile Division is located at the building next to the court house at 10 North Main Street and is also referred to the Old County Building.
The Macomb County Courthouse and Old County Building are conveniently located near the I-94 Freeway.
If northbound on I-94, exit onto Metropolitan Parkway eastbound, turn left at Crocker Blvd. and proceed northwest into downtown Mount Clemens. Turn right onto Main St. The Old County Building is on the north-east corner of the Main Street intersection. The Court Building is just to the north of the Old County Building.
If southbound on I-94, take the North River Road exit. Turn right onto North River Road and proceed to Gratiot Ave. After merging onto Gratiot Ave. proceed immediately to the left-hand lane and turn left onto Main St. Once on Main St., the Court building will be on the left after the Main St./Market St. intersection. The Old County Building is just to the south of the Court Building.
Parking for both buildings is available at meters on Main Street and throughout downtown Mount Clemens, or at the parking structure next to the County Administration Building located at 1 South Main Street. The parking structure entrance is located on Main Street just south of the Cass/Crocker Road. From the parking structure you can walk to each building or when it is colder there is a tunnel entrance from the lower level of the parking structure that connects to all three buildings (County Administration Building, Old County Building, and Courthouse).
