All juror candidates must complete the online questionnaire (e-response system).
Use the above link and click “Sign On.” Use your Juror ID number located on your summons.
Our online e-response system
Our online e-response system provides jurors with access to important information pertaining to their jury service. Jurors are required to visit the site to complete their online questionnaire prior to their service date. Some of the other services that are available on the site are:

Deferrals
Deferral? What is it? A juror changes their service date due to a schedule conflict. (1st available to all, 2nd available with supporting documentation)
- Full Time Student
- Travel/Vacation scheduled
- Medical Appointment/Test
- Death in Family
- Business/Work Conflict
- Juror doesn’t speak English
- No Child Care
- Anyone with a conflict may request

Excusals
Excusal? What is it? Request to be dismissed from the obligation listed on the Jury Duty summons
- Address Change to out of County (Updated Drivers License Required)
- Medical/Physically Unable (Doctor letter requesting that you be excused)
- Active Military (Military Orders)
- Non-Citizen (Copy of Green Card or Other proof of no US Citizenship)
- Caregiver (Doctor letter requesting that you be excused as a caregiver)
- Incapacitated Individual (Letters of Guardianship or Conservatorship)
How do I request an Excusal? Complete the juror qualification questionnaire. The answers to your questions will prompt a service request to the jury room. If you receive a denial email, you may reply with your documentation of proof attached. You may also email your documentation directly to the Jury Room at juryroom@macombgov.org or fax to 586-469-5204.

Disqualifications
Disqualification? What is it? Some citizens do not qualify for jury service and others may disqualify themselves
- Citizens over the age of 70 may disqualify themselves
- Individuals with felony convictions do not qualify
- Deceased Individuals -- reported by family or friend
