Macomb County, in partnership with the Healthy Parks Collaborative, launched Meet Me on the Trail Day in September 2021.
The initiative is designed to promote health and wellness and celebrate the growing trail system in the County through education, recreation and stewardship events, including nature hikes, bike rides, restoration projects, fishing lessons, picnics, kids' games and presentations.

Meet Me on the Trail Day 2021
Meet Me on the Trail Day 2021 was held in 13 locations across Macomb County, with events hosted by local parks and recreation departments. A map of activities was launched to support the initiative, featuring activities and giveaways at each of the host sites, which included:

- Shelby Township
