The main branch of the Clinton River is navigable by paddle boats for 32 miles - starting near Yates Cider Mill adjacent to Dequindre Road all the way to the mouth of the river at Harley Ensign DNR Boat Launch along Lake St. Clair.  There are eight public paddle boat launches in Utica, Sterling Heights, Clinton Township, Mount Clemens and Harrison Township.  The Clinton River spillway is also open to paddling.​​​​​ Find additional information and details for accessing the river on our paddling launches in Macomb County map.
