Lake St. Clair is a fresh body of water situated between the Detroit and St. Clair rivers, connecting Lake Erie to the south with Lake Huron to the north.

Macomb County has 32 miles of Lake St. Clair shoreline along its eastern border, stretching from Grosse Pointe Shores in the south to New Baltimore in the north.

Lake St. Clair is a fresh body of water situated between the Detroit and St. Clair rivers, connecting Lake Erie to the south with Lake Huron to the north. Coastal trails along the lake are designed for people using small watercraft like kayaks, canoes, single sail boats and rowboats. Easy to access launch points are located across our community and the trails take users through historical, environmental and cultural points of interest. There are also a variety of nearby amenities like restaurants, piers and campgrounds that can be found via Tour Lake St. Clair
