The Friend of the Court helps out the Family Court and families by referees hearing motions, investigating and making recommendations about support, parenting time, and custody, keeping track of support payments, collecting support payments, and helping to make sure parenting time and support orders are followed. There is a Friend of the Court Office for each county in the state of Michigan.
