Macomb County Senior Services

Donate

Donate to help support seniors of Macomb County through the Office of Senior Services

Why donate?

Senior Services is primarily funded by the Older American Act

Funding is through the Area Agency on Aging 1-B and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services

  • Grant funds do not cover the full cost of the program
  • Program is required to request a donation from participants but cannot deny service if they do not contribute
  • Community donations help fill the gap when participants are unable to contribute

Donations can also help:

  • Support programs with wait lists
  • Expand service delivery (more people and types of assistance)
  • Develop new services for unmet needs (innovation)
