Special Olympics (2024)
Students from Robert G Lutz School got the games of the Area 14 Special Olympics kicked off by leading everyone in the national anthem and then it was time for competition. It was a beautiful sunny Macomb County, MI day for all the athletes performing to achieve their personal best for true success!

Selfridge Air Show and Open House
Macomb County skies were graced with some extreme flying entertainment during the 2024 Selfridge Open House & Air Show. So many from the community were in attendance to see all the excitement. A couple of the highlights were watching the famous Thunderbirds perform and a special appearance by the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, which has epitomized a generation of United States Air Force air power!

It was a privilege to attend Fran's 100th birthday celebration at Michigan Veterans Home in Chesterfield Township, MI. Fran is not only a Macomb County resident, but also a Navy veteran and an original 'Rosie the Riveter!'
