Human resources policies

Policies are divided into three sections: Employment, compensation and benefits, and time and attendance. These policies supersede any previous policies and procedures, written or oral, which may exist within the County.

Notice to employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement: In circumstances wherein a collective bargaining agreement addresses a policy issue, the collective bargaining agreement supersede the human resources policy. However, if the collective bargaining agreement is silent on a policy issue, the human resources policy applies.
