Order a certified copy of a birth certificate online by following the steps below. The cost is $15 for the first copy, and $5 for each additional copy of the same record after that. Online orders typically take one to two business days to process and mail out (you should receive your record 5 to 10 business days after ordering if you choose free standard shipping). Express mail is available for an additional $30. (Express mail delivery times depend on the zip code, postal service limitations and if the request is not received before 11 am. Please note: No International Overnight Mail available.) There is no additional fee for using the Macomb County Clerk online order service. Birth certificates are not public record, and only certain individuals may purchase a certified copy of a Macomb County Birth Certificate.

Upload an image of your driver's license or state ID
In order to fully process your request, you MUST upload an image of your Driver's License or State ID right in the online form in step number 3 (or provide a fax or e-mailed image after you place your order online). Make sure to include the name on the credit card account that was used in your correspondence.

Qualifications
