Mount Clemens, MI - A 36-year-old Clinton Township police officer was arraigned in connection with allegedly violating the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN).
An audit by the Michigan State Police concluded that on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, Clinton Township Police Officer John Hreno allegedly ran a license plate into LEIN that was never a focus of investigation by the Clinton Township Police Department and there was allegedly no valid law enforcement reason to run the license plate.
Hreno was charged with Unauthorized Disclosure of LEIN Information (93 day misdemeanor). Hreno was arraigned today in 41B Clinton Township District Court by Magistrate Ryan Zemke where Hreno was given a $5,000 personal bond. Hreno's next court date is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15, 2024 at 9:00am in front of District Court Judge Jacomb Femminineo, Jr.
