On Monday, May 27th AMVETS Post 72 will hold the annual Memorial Day Ceremony in the Village of New Haven. The schedule is as follows:
Parade attendees should arrive at the Post around 8:30/9:00 am where they will have coffee and donuts. At 9:30am they will leave the Post and head to New Haven (Division and Haven Ridge Road) to line up for the parade. The parade begins at 10:00 am and attendees will march to Centennial Cemetery for a 21-gun salute followed by guest speakers. After the cemetery they will head to the New Haven library for a flag-raising ceremony and then back to the Post for a luncheon. At 1:00pm they will assemble in front of the Post adjacent to the Duster for a dedication for the deceased AMVETS Post 72 members from this past year.
