Through a partnership with Macomb Community Action (MCA), Veterans Services provides veteran transportation to the Detroit VAMC for morning appointments only. Veterans will be picked up at their home. Veterans who use wheelchairs can be accommodated but must be able to get to the curb.
A transportation request must be received by the office at least 48 hours beforehand, or five days in advance for veterans using wheelchairs. As of now, the office is only able to transport Veterans to the Detroit VAMC.
