Juvenile Court - Pursuant to statute, the Circuit Court annually creates an alphabetical list of the individual persons authorized to post bonds in the County of Macomb.

Bond monies may be retained by the Court in payment of juvenile costs. MCR 5.935(c)(6)(a).

Bail bond information

Pursuant to statute, the Circuit Court annually creates an alphabetical list of the individual persons authorized to post bonds in the County of Macomb.  For a PDF version of the 2023 Bail Bond Agent List, click here.  (Latest version dated April 1, 2023.)

Individuals wishing to be added to the Macomb County approved list of bail bond agents must fill out a required application.  Applications for the following year's Bail Bond List must be received no later than October 1st of the preceding year.  Since October 1, 2023 falls on a Sunday, applications can be turned in on or before Monday, October 2, 2023.  For the 2024 bail bond application click here.  

Persons will only be listed as working for one agency in the main section of the list. If a person works for more than one agency, it will be footnoted in an addendum. Runners are not listed. 

When submitting your application, please include the following:

1.    Current year application;
2.    Qualifying power of attorney from the insurance company representing each agent; and
3.    Print-out from the State of Michigan's DLEG insurance agent search site for each agent.
