The Office of Senior Services annually hosts the Senior Fun Festival, Macomb County's largest senior expo. This is a wonderful event for older adults and caregivers to learn more about resources and service.

The Macomb County Office of Senior Services is pleased to host its 35th annual Senior Fun Festival on Thursday, September 24th from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Lorenzo Cultural Center at Macomb Community College in Clinton Township.

You are invited to participate in the event’s success by joining us for an opportunity to showcase your company or organization’s products and services to Macomb County’s seniors.  In past years, we have had approximately 1,500 attendees.  This year we expect another great turnout.  SMART bus has partnered again this year to help provide transportation from several senior centers this year.

As in prior years, the Senior Fun Festival will continue to feature a variety of resources focused on seniors and caregivers, along with entertainment, raffles, and refreshments.

Below is information on how you can become a sponsor or reserve a vendor table at the Senior Fun Festival.  Space is limited so register and pay early to reserve your spot.  Sponsorships are essential to produce such a stellar community event.  We invite you to join us in a fun filled day.

Corporate sponsor and vendor opportunities

Senior Fun Festival is Macomb County’s largest senior expo! More than 1,500 seniors and caregivers have attended in past events and were joined by 100 vendors. Please note, this event is to provide information and resources to Macomb County seniors and caregivers. No political campaigning or promoting ballot initiatives.  Senior Fun Festival offers sponsors excellent opportunities for exposure leading up to and during the expo. 

To ensure proper recognition and logo placement on marketing materials, please confirm your sponsorship level by August 14th, 2026.  Email logo to funfest@macombgov.org. Tiered logo placement for a single logo per sponsorship.

Presenting sponsor- $5,000 - sponsor secured for 2026. Please reach out to funfest@macombgov.org for future opportunities.

As the presenting sponsor, you will receive the highest level of sponsorship recognition for the event.

In-kind sponsor

  • The event needs in-kind donations to help offset the cost (i.e., cases of bottled water, event photographer, etc.). Services in exchange will vary based on value of in-kind donation.

Frequently asked questions

Why should you register as a vendor for the event?

Senior Fun Festival offers local businesses and vendors the opportunity to showcase services while providing seniors with information and products. The revenue garnered from registration fees goes to support this premier event. Every year more than 1,500 seniors and caregivers attend the festival seeking help or information. The festival will feature a variety of resources focused on seniors and caregivers, along with entertainment, raffles, and refreshments.

 

What do you receive when you register as a vendor? 

The venue will provide a 2.5 foot by 6 or 8-foot table, with two chairs, for you to display your products and materials. Vendors should plan to bring their own tablecloth for their table.

 

How to I request access to electric outlets?

New this year is a separate vendor registration level. Due to the building layout, there is limited access available. Be sure to bring your own extension cords.

 

Where can I place signage and other display materials?

All materials must be placed on the vendor table or behind the table.  No items should be placed in front of the vendor table as this may impede traffic and pose a safety hazard.

 

Do sponsors still need to register for a vendor table?

No, a vendor table (or two) is included in your sponsorship package.

 

Am I allowed to sell products or hold a raffle during the event?

Selling items during the event is prohibited. This is an opportunity to create awareness of your company. You can hold a raffle at your vendor table but it your responsibility to follow up individually with the winner as this cannot be announced from the main stage.

 

Can I book a table for a political campaign or ballot initiative?

No. The Senior Fun Festival is intended to provide information and resources to Macomb County seniors and caregivers. This is not a political event. Nor can individuals pass out campaign or ballot materials while walking around the venue.

Vendor set up information

VENDOR SET-UP, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23rd:

It is strongly preferred and important that vendors set-up the afternoon prior to the event on Wednesday, September 23rd between 2pm and 5pm.  Please arrive no later than 4:30pm.

This is a well-attended event, and our senior guests will line up early in the lobby to get in.  This year, we have partnered with SMART BUS to facilitate transportation from several senior centers in the county.  We do not want vendors entering the morning of the event with the set-up materials because the lobby with be congested with seniors waiting to get in when doors open. We pride ourselves on a well-organized event, and set-up the day prior is key to that.  Thank you for your cooperation.

If you have schedule issues that prevent you from setting up the day prior, we ask that you have another member of your staff drop off your materials on Wednesday.  Contact funfest@macombgov.org with questions or concerns.

EVENT DAY, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th:

  • Doors will open to vendors at 8:00 a.m. day of event, all vendors should be present and ready by 9:00 a.m. 
  • Vendor refreshments will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
  • Senior attendee refreshments will be available starting at 10am while supplies last.
  • Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. to our senior guests. Vendor must stay until 1:00 p.m.
  • Vendors will not be able to register on the day of the event.
  • Organizations with similar business operations and interests may be present.
  • No refunds.
