Last year, our summer was incomplete due to the harsh wave of COVID-19. But now it is back in full swing! The bees are buzzing, the flowers are blooming, and Macomb county has tons of fun activities lined up for those ready to get outdoors!
Farmers Markets - Already the summer has kicked off with multiple farmers and flea markets across the county. You can find more information about each one below!
Fireworks - As Independence Day approaches, fireworks will light up the sky on four separate occasions. Here’s a list to keep track:
- First State Bank Fireworks Extravaganza (Friday, June 25 - St. Clair Shores)
- Independence Day Fireworks & Riversight & Sound Concert (Friday, June 25 - Mount Clemens)
- Stony Creek Metropark fireworks (Wednesday, June 30 - Stony Creek Metropark)
- Shelby Township DDA Independence Day Fireworks and Food Trucks (Thursday, July 1 - Shelby Charter Township)
Music in the Park - For music lovers, there is always something available in the evening at one of the many Concert Series or Music in the Park performances. Below you can find the music events listed for this summer!

Festivals, Carnivals, and Fairs - Many family fun events were postponed last year due to the pandemic, but now they’re back. From June to August, multiple fairs and festivals will be hosted throughout Macomb County. Below are links to the festivities:

Other Events - In honor of those who fought in the Vietnam War, a replica of The Wall That Heals memorial will make an appearance in Clinton Township August 3 until August 8. More information can be found here.
