Ring in the new season: Macomb County’s summertime events

-Posted on June 15, 2021

Last year, our summer was incomplete due to the harsh wave of COVID-19. But now it is back in full swing! The bees are buzzing, the flowers are blooming, and Macomb county has tons of fun activities lined up for those ready to get outdoors!

Farmers Markets - Already the summer has kicked off with multiple farmers and flea markets across the county. You can find more information about each one below!

Fireworks - As Independence Day approaches, fireworks will light up the sky on four separate occasions. Here’s a list to keep track:

Music in the Park - For music lovers, there is always something available in the evening at one of the many Concert Series or Music in the Park performances. Below you can find the music events listed for this summer!

Festivals, Carnivals, and Fairs - Many family fun events were postponed last year due to the pandemic, but now they’re back. From June to August, multiple fairs and festivals will be hosted throughout Macomb County. Below are links to the festivities:

Other Events - In honor of those who fought in the Vietnam War, a replica of The Wall That Heals memorial will make an appearance in Clinton Township August 3 until August 8. More information can be found here.

There is so much to see in Macomb County! What are you doing this weekend? **Please adhere to any and all COVID-19 guidelines posted by event organizers.**
