With more than 61% of Macomb County residents having some level of college education (above the state average), our workforce has everything from advanced degreed personnel to skilled trades experts. Macomb has a strong collection of engineers, especially mechanical and industrial. And the state of Michigan employs 4,500 commercial and industrial designers, the most in the nation. We are also training the future workforce with our Fueling the Talent Pipeline initiative, Manufacturing Day and relationships with our educational partners.
