AGM Automotive expands into Sterling Heights

In mid-December, AGM Automotive of Troy will be opening the doors of a brand new 73,000-square-foot building on Progress Drive in Sterling Heights. This new building will be a state-of-the-art warehousing and logistics facility for the tier one automotive supplier of interior trim, lighting and electronic components.

Utilizing the services of the Bonner Advisory Group, the city of Sterling Heights and Macomb County’s Economic Development Services Group, AGM Automotive was able to procure a 10-year Industrial Facilities Tax Exemption for what is their ninth building worldwide. This new facility is a $3.36 million investment by AGM Automotive that will result in the transfer of approximately 40 jobs from the Troy headquarters while creating approximately 11 brand new jobs.
