Water Bill Assistance Program - Flyer
Water bill assistance through the Water Residential Assistance Program, or WRAP, is available for qualified residents in some Macomb County communities. WRAP offers a individualized service plan to help residential customers in the Great Lakes Water Authority regions to pay past-due bills, get $25 monthly credit toward future bills, receive plumbing repairs, and get water-saving kits*. Communities currently accepting new WRAP applications are:
- Center Line
- Chesterfield Township
- Clinton Township
- Macomb Township
- Shelby Township
- St. Clair Shores
- Sterling Heights
- Village of New Haven
- Washington Township
Don't see your city on the list? Water bill assistance for non-WRAP communities may still be available through other programs.
*Eligibility and guidelines will vary based on WRAP guidelines; individualized plans vary based on income eligibility and other factors. Documentation for program eligibility is required. Call (586) 469-6464 to learn more and see if you qualify.
