Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP)

 

The Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) offers services for qualified residents, including direct payment assistance for household accounts in arrears or disconnect status, including reconnection fees when services have been disconnected.

Eligibility

Qualified account holders must:

  • Be a residential account in a participating community
  • Be in arrears or disconnect status
  • Be under 150% Federal Poverty Limit or actively receiving TANF, FAP/SNAP, SER, or SSI.
