Save the Date – Upcoming Spring Events

May 13: Employee Health & Fitness Day
Employees are invited to join their coworkers and Healthstyles committee members for a group walk at noon. Two locations will be offered – downtown Mount Clemens and the VerKulien campus. Snacks, bottled water and a brief exercise session will be led by fitness instructors from Maria Marino’s Fitness.

May 11 – June 21: Spring into Action
Healthstyles will be sponsoring Spring into Action once again. Take advantage of the improving weather and get active with your coworkers. More details to come in April.

Aug. 5: Healthstyles Employee Health Fair
This year, Healthstyles is bringing the Employee Health Fair closer to most work campuses. We are partnering with the Macomb Community College Emergency Training facility on Dunham – right next to the VerKulien building – to hold our annual health fair. Screenings, healthy food samples, giveaways and the chance to talk with more than 25 local health and wellness vendors will once again be available.

If you have any questions, please email the Healthstyles program at healthstyles@macombgov.org.
