Vroom, vroom! What's your favorite car?

With the 2015 North American International Auto Show taking place this month, we thought we'd ask department leaders and elected officials about their favorite car.

Aside from the Batmobile ... the Grand National Chevy late ‘80s early ‘90s. But, for the future, the Atlas Ford F-150. It's sharp looking and has the latest technology. Also, the Romeo Engine Plant played an integral part of the development of its engine -- Macomb County Executive Mark A. Hackel

1964 Mustang....What's not to like?!?!? -- Vicki Wolber, Emergency Management director

My absolute dream car is a 1972 MG B Roadster convertible.  I love my Dodge SUV for hauling around kids, groceries and anything else I need, but I'd love to have a fun little toy like an MG to drive on beautiful summer days! -- Barb Caskey, Community Corrections director

The 1968 Camaro Z28. It is a great muscle car from the past. -- Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham

Having a new Lamborghini would be great, but impractical on our roads, so my dream car is still the classic American icon – the 1957 Chevy Bel Air, two door coup V-8 in black onyx. My father had a ‘56 two-toned Chevy Bel Air that we used as a family car so I've always loved the Chevy classics. -- Bill Ridella, Macomb County Health director

This is an easy one. 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS with the 454 big block engine. Why? Because I remember the true meaning of coolness. -- John Schapka, Corporation Counsel

Ford Mustang because of how it handles, the feel of the road and its “throaty rumble.” -- Chris Reilly, Macomb/ St. Clair Employment and Training Agency director

Lincoln Continental from almost any year. They are an American classic and built like a tank. -- Sandy Jurek, Information Technology director

My dream car is the Corvette. It's an American muscle car that has been around for quite some time. It's fast and it has a unique design that screams speed! -- Richard Wooten, MSUE director
