Honorable Teri Lynn Dennings
Judge Teri Lynn Dennings was an attorney for a Fortune 500 Company. Her experience includes over 15 years representing individuals, corporations, labor unions, and government in civil litigation and administrative law. She has also taught as an adjunct professor at Eastern Michigan University, the University of Michigan – Dearborn, and the University of Michigan Law School.
Judge Dennings is a member of various professional organizations and has received recognition from her peers for her work as an attorney. Examples of awards include Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Star, HOUR Magazine’s Top Women Attorneys, Michigan Lawyers Weekly “Up & Coming Attorney,” SSA’s Award for Exceptional Contributions, and Consumers Energy’s Leaving it Better Award.
As a new jurist, Judge Dennings coined her judicial philosophy as RIPP, which encompasses: respect, impartial decision making, preparation, and public service beyond the bench.
Judge Dennings graduated from Eastern Michigan University (B.S.) and Wayne State University Law School (J.D.).
