The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is hosting a webinar, Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 1:30-2:30 p.m., to announce the latest funding opportunities available through the Revitalization and Placemaking (RAP) program.
Performance-based RAP grants are currently available for real estate redevelopment projects and can be applied for on a rolling basis as the funds are available. Performance-based grants for public space place-based infrastructure projects and facade program implementation will be available in the fiscal year 2025 through a competitive grant process. The application window is anticipated to be November 2024-January 2025.
The RAP Program application webinar will include a RAP application overview and answers to questions. For those that cannot attend the webinar live, it will be recorded and will be available on miplace.org after the webinar, along with an updated Frequently Asked Questions document.
The webinar is free, but registration is required.
