The Macomb County Federal Aid Committee (FAC) is responsible for reviewing and selecting federal aid eligible projects for inclusion in the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), which is administered by the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG). The Macomb County FAC consists of MCDR personnel and local government representatives from every city, village and township within Macomb County with participation from SEMCOG and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
