Mount Clemens, MI – On December 3, 3025, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) was requested to investigate an officer involved shooting stemming from a welfare check by the Sterling Heights Police Department. The incident occurred around 3:22PM on Apple Blossom Drive in Sterling Heights.
The investigation is ongoing.
The decedent has been identified as Nicolas Quaranta, 54-years-old, from Sterling Heights, Michigan.
