Harrison Township, MI – Yesterday, December 16, 2025, at approximately 11:21PM, Macomb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were alerted to an alleged stolen vehicle being tracked by Michigan State Police while traveling eastbound on I-94 near 12 Mile Road.
Deputies responded to the area of eastbound I-94 and North River Road in Harrison Township. Deputies activated lights and sirens, ordering the vehicle to stop. The suspect ignored commands and continued to flee.
Deputies utilized strategic vehicle positioning and the deployment of tire deflation devices to successfully disable to the suspect’s vehicle near Joy Boulevard on westbound I-94. The suspect ultimately pulled over on the left shoulder near North River Road.
All occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody without incident. The driver, a 22-year-old male from Warren, remains lodged at the Macomb County Jail, where charges are being sought by the MCSO. Michigan State Police took custody of the three remaining occupants of the vehicle on their related charges.
The multi-jurisdictional investigation remains ongoing.
