Macomb Auto Theft Squad arrests three in connection with manufacturing assembly plant thefts

Mount Clemens, MI – The Macomb Auto Theft Squad (MATS) has investigated numerous incidents of high-end vehicle thefts throughout Macomb County over the past year. The investigation led to the identification of three suspects: 

 

Suspect 1 – Leondre Jones, 21-years-old, from Detroit, 

Suspect 2 – Lemel Watley-Neely, 25-years-old, from Detroit, 

Suspect 3 – Jayvon Williams, 33 years-old, from Detroit. 

 

The three suspects allegedly targeted vehicle manufacturing assembly plants throughout Macomb County and across Michigan, where they stole multiple high-end vehicles at one time.

 

The suspects were arraigned at the 37th District Court in Warren on September 19, 2025, on charges of Conducting a Criminal Enterprise. Suspect 1, Jones, was given a $400,000 cash/surety bond with a GPS steel cuff tether required upon release. Suspect 2, Watley-Neely, was given a $500,000 cash/surety bond with a GPS steel cuff tether required upon release. Suspect 3, Williams, was given a $750,000 cash/surety bond with a GPS steel cuff tether required upon release.

 

The suspects remain lodged at the Macomb County Jail.
