Woman Allegedly Stabs Boyfriend Multiple Times

A Clinton Township resident was arraigned today on multiple charges in connection with the alleged stabbing of her boyfriend.

Woman Allegedly Stabs Boyfriend Multiple Times

Mount Clemens, MI -  A Clinton Township resident was arraigned today on multiple charges in connection with the alleged stabbing of her boyfriend.

It is alleged that on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, Jennifer Marie Hayes, age 29, stabbed her boyfriend multiple times at his Clinton Township residence.  The victim is expected to recover.  Hayes was charged with Assault with Intent to Murder, a life felony and Aggravated Domestic Violence, a one year misdemeanor.

Hayes was arraigned today in 41B Clinton Township District Court where Magistrate Ryan Zemke set bond at $250,000 cash/surety only.  If released Hayes must wear a GPS tether.  A Probable Cause Hearing is scheduled for Monday, July 15, 2024 at 8:30 am by District Court Judge Sebastian Lucido.

“Domestic Violence needs to stop.  Violence has no place in our community," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
