Southfield Man Arraigned for Allegedly Killing Co-Worker at Harrison Township Business

Mount Clemens, MI - A 28-year-old man was arraigned in the alleged shooting death of his co-worker at Immanuel and Associates in Harrison Township.
It is alleged that on Friday, October 11, 2024, former employee Karl Marcellus Johnson entered Immanuel and Associates warehouse. Later, the victim Roger Palmer entered the business. It is alleged that Johnson shot and killed Palmer.
Johnson was charged with Murder in the First Degree, a life without parole felony. He was arraigned in 41B Clinton Township District Court where District Court Judge Sebastian Lucido set bond at $5 million, no 10%. A Probable Cause Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 8:30am.
"This was a calculated and cold-blooded act that robbed a man of his life and devastated a family forever. We are committed to seeking justice for this crime, ensuring that such violence is met with the strongest legal consequences," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
