Shelby Township Man Bound Over to Macomb County Circuit Court For Allegedly Sexually Assaulting a Minor

Mount Clemens, MI - A Shelby Township man has been bound over to Macomb County Circuit Court for sexually assaulting a minor.
It is alleged that on multiple occasions in 2024, Joel Quintana-Dominguez, age 32, sexually assaulted a minor. He was charged with three counts of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a person under 13, with the defendant being 17 years old or older, life felonies.
On Thursday, February 20, 2025, Shelby Township District Court Judge Stephen Sierawski bound Quintana-Dominguez over to the Macomb County Circuit Court. His next court hearing is in front of Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Joseph Toia on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 8:30 am. Quintana-Dominguez also has an immigration hold from the Department of Homeland Security.
