Shelby Township Father Arraigned For Allegedly Sexually Assaulting A Minor

Mount Clemens, MI - A Shelby Township man has been arraigned for sexually assaulting a minor.

It is alleged that on multiple occasions in 2024, Joel Quintana-Dominguez, age 32, sexually assaulted a minor girl.  He was charged with three counts of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a person under 13, with the defendant being 17 years old or older, life felonies.

Quintana-Dominguez was arraigned in Shelby District Court where District Court Judge Douglas Shepherd sent bond at $500,000 cash/surety.  Quintana-Dominguez also has an immigration hold from the Department of Homeland Security.  A Probable Cause Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 1:30 pm.
