Task force investigations result in two men arraigned on charges including Armed Robbery and Conducting a Criminal Enterprise

Press Release

Mount Clemens, MI – Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that Andrew Walker, 27, of Detroit, and Deanote Lindsey, 27, of Harper Woods, have been arraigned on serious charges stemming from an alleged series of thefts from work trucks across Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties.

It is alleged that Walker and Lindsey targeted work vehicles parked in driveways and commercial parking lots throughout the tri-county area, operating at various times of day. They are accused of breaking into at least 17 work vehicles.

During one incident, it is further alleged that when a victim attempted to prevent the suspects from fleeing with stolen property, one of the men produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim.

Both men were arraigned on the following charges:

Count 1: Armed Robbery, a felony punishable by life or any term of years

Count 2: Conducting a Criminal Enterprise, a 20-year felony

Count 3: Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, a 4-year felony

Walker was arraigned on Thursday, January 29, 2026, and Lindsey on Monday, February 2, 2026, before Magistrate Ryan Zemke at the 41B District Court in Clinton Township. Magistrate Zemke set Walker’s bond at $50,000 cash/surety, and Lindsey’s at $500,000 cash/surety. The defendants must wear GPS tethers if released from custody. Both Walker and Lindsey are scheduled for a Probable Cause Conference before Judge Sebastian Lucido on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.

“I want to commend the members of the Macomb Auto Theft Task Squad, the Clinton Township, St. Clair Shores, Roseville, and Warren Police Departments, the Macomb FBI Violent Crimes Taskforce, and the Troy Special Investigations Unit.
