Mt. Clemens, MI –Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that a Preliminary Exam date is set for 21-year-old Logan Shea, of Clinton Township, related to an alleged road rage incident and shots fired from a vehicle in Sterling Heights, MI.
It is alleged that on Sunday, November 16, 2025, officers responded to the area of 15 Mile Road and Schoenherr in Sterling Heights regarding a reported road-rage incident. The caller stated that a man driving a white Chevrolet Silverado, later identified as Shea, displayed a badge and pointed a firearm at him. The caller provided officers with a description of the driver and the vehicle’s license plate number.
It is further alleged that while officers were speaking with the caller, additional units reported hearing gunshots in the vicinity of 19 Mile Road and Saal. The vehicle involved in that incident was also described as a white Silverado. Officers subsequently proceeded to the address associated with the license plate provided by the caller, which was identified as Shea’s residence. Pursuant to a search warrant, officers recovered a badge and multiple firearms.
A Preliminary Exam for Shea is set for Monday, January 12, 2026, at 1 p.m. before Judge Kimberley Wiegand at the 41A District Court in Sterling Heights, MI.
Shea is charged with:
- Weapons – Firearms – Discharge from Vehicle, a 10-year felony,
- Weapons Felony Firearm, a 2-year felony consecutive to main charge,
- Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, a 4-year felony, and
- Weapons Felony Firearm, a 2-year felony consecutive to main charge.
