Man charged with multiple armed robberies at Eastpointe business

Mt. Clemens, MI – Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that criminal charges were brought against a 47-year-old Clinton Township man who committed multiple armed robberies at an Eastpointe business.   

It is alleged that on Friday, December 5, 2025, at approximately 5:03 pm, Anthony Terrell Patterson entered an Eastpointe business with five employees and two customers present.  Patterson displayed a handgun and forced the employees and customers to lie on the ground.  Patterson then allegedly robbed each employee and customer of their money and took a driver’s license and a debit card. Patterson then fled the business on foot. He was later arrested.

On December 23, 2025, Patterson was arraigned in the 38th District Court in Eastpointe, MI before Magistrate Mark Makoski. Patterson faces a litany of charges:

-Seven (7) Counts of Armed Robbery, each a felony punishable up to life or any term of years.

-Eight (8) Counts of Felony Firearm, each a felony punishable with a mandatory minimum (2) two years, consecutive with and to other sentences.

-One Count for Carrying a Concealed Weapon, a felony punishable up to five (5) years

-One Count for Possessing a Firearm as a Prohibited Person, a felony punishable up to five (5) years

These are the maximum charges available under the law based upon the evidence presented to date; more charges may be brought against Patterson.

Magistrate Makoski set no bond for Patterson and he was immediately remanded into custody. Patterson is scheduled for a Probable Cause Conference before Judge Kathleen Galen at the 38th District Court in Eastpointe, MI on Tuesday, January 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., and a Preliminary Exam on Tuesday January 13, 2026 also at 1:00 p.m.
