On Thursday, April 23, 2026, Lupo’s preliminary exam was held before Judge William H. Hackel, III of the 42-2 District Court in New Baltimore, MI. At the conclusion of the exam, Judge Hackel bound Lupo over as charged with the following:

  • Children – Accosting for Immoral Purpose, a four-year felony,
  • Computers – Using to Commit a Crime – Maximum Imprisonment of Four Years or More but Less Than 10 years, a seven-year felony, and
  • Controlled Substances – Possession (Cocaine, Heroin or Another Narcotic) Less and 25 Grams, a four-year felony. The People were represented at the Preliminary Exam by Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Justin Pollard.

Lupo will be arraigned before Judge Anthony R. Servitto at the Macomb County Circuit Court on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.

Lucido.
