Mount Clemens, MI - Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced Kimberly Lozano, a 31-year-old Livonia woman, was bound over to Macomb County Circuit Court on charges related to a shooting in an Eastpointe, MI residence.

Lozano’s Preliminary Exam was held on Sept. 3 and 10, 2025, conducted by Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Julianne Beslic before Judge Kathleen G. Galen in the 38th District Court in Eastpointe, MI. At the end of the Exam, Beslic requested Judge Galen add additional charges of First-Degree Home Invasion and a third count of Felony Firearm to the original charges.

On Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, Judge Galen bound Lozano over to the circuit court on all original charges, plus the additional charges as requested by Beslic.
