Mount Clemens, MI – Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that a 17-year-old juvenile, Kaden Walls, of Warren, was arraigned as an adult on seven felony charges related to an alleged shooting and arson in Warren.
It is alleged that on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Warren Police were dispatched following reports of gunfire in a local neighborhood. Information provided to authorities indicated that two individuals allegedly ignited a fire at a residence with accelerants. Multiple bullet holes were found in a bedroom window. It is alleged that Walls fired multiple shots at the structure before leaving the scene in an SUV.
After carefully examining all the available evidence including the severity of the allegations, Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido is charging Walls as an adult.
An arraignment was held for Walls on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, before Judge Michael Chupa at the 37th District Court in Warren, MI.
Walls was charged with the following:
Count 1: Assault with Intent to Murder, a felony punishable by life or any term of years
Count 2: Weapons Felony Firearm, a 2-year felony consecutive to main charge
Count 3: Second Degree Arson, a 20-year felony
Count 4: Explosives – Placing Near Property Causing Property Damage, a 20-year felony
Count 5: Weapons – Firearms Discharge in or at a Building, a 10-year felony
Count 6: Weapons Felony Firearm, a 2-year felony consecutive to main charge
Count 7: Weapons – Carrying Concealed, a 5-year felony
Judge Chupa set bond for Walls at $500,000 cash/surety only. The court ordered Walls to have no contact with the complaining victims, witnesses, or co-defendants. Should bond be posted, Walls is required to wear a steel cuff GPS tether and possess no weapons or ammunition.

There are four other individuals charged in this case. Three of the individuals were arraigned on the same exact charges as Walls:
Keith Melidis, 18 of Warren, who has a $250,000 cash/surety bond.
Kenneth Blevins, 18 of Warren, who has a $150,000 cash/surety bond.
Bellamaria Sorge, 19 of Warren, who has a $50,000 cash/surety bond.
Elijah Ingram, 19 of Warren, who has a $150,000 cash/surety bond, was arraigned on the following charges:
Count 1: Accessory After the Fact to a Felony, a 5-year felony
Count 2: Weapons Felony Firearm, a 2-year felony consecutive to main charge
Count 3: Weapons – Carrying Concealed, a 5-year felony
Count 4: Police Officer – Fleeing -Third Degree – Vehicle Code, a 5-year felony
All four of the above-referenced individuals also have the following conditions if bond is posted:
The individuals are subject to house arrest, must wear a GPS tether, submit to alcohol and drug testing, possess no weapons and have no contact with the complaining victims, witnesses, co-defendants, or the residence where the alleged shooting/arson occurred.
All of the individuals are scheduled for Probable Cause Conferences before Judge John M. Chmura at the 37th District Court in Warren, MI on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.
Prosecutor Lucido stated, "When people engage in serious criminal behavior, like the allegations in this case, society cannot look the other way. These alleged actions have real victims and real consequences. The law demands accountability. This is about protecting our community and sending a clear message that such conduct cannot be tolerated."
