Illinois man extradited and arraigned, charged with multiple felonies including Felony Murder

Press Release

Mount Clemens, MI – Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that 36-year-old Jourdan Armstrong, of Joliet, IL, was arraigned on multiple felony charges including two counts of Felony Murder after being extradited from Texas.

It is alleged that on December 27, 2024, Armstrong planned and committed an armed robbery at a house in Warren, MI where marijuana was sold. During the robbery, two men were killed: Trey Bennett, 24-years-old, and Andrew McHenry, 36-years-old, both of Newark, OH. Armstrong escaped the scene.

It is further alleged that through excellent police work, Armstrong’s identity was discovered.  He was identified as the man who orchestrated the drug deal and initially pulled the gun during the robbery.
