Mount Clemens, MI – Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announces that 70-year-old Robert Jordan, of Harrison Township, MI, was arraigned on multiple Criminal Sexual Conduct charges involving a juvenile victim.
It is alleged that from June 2009 to the end of December 2015, Jordon sexually assaulted the juvenile victim multiple times.
On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Jordan was arraigned before Magistrate Ryan Zemke in the 41B District Court in Clinton Township, MI. Jordan is charged with the following offenses:
THREE COUNTS: Criminal Sexual Conduct – First Degree (Person Under 13, Defendant 17 years or older), a felony punishable by life or any term of years, mandatory minimum of 25 years with lifetime electronic monitoring
TWO COUNTS: Criminal Sexual Conduct – Second Degree (Person Under 13, Defendant 17 years or older), a 15-year felony with lifetime electronic monitoring
These are the maximum charges available under the law based on the evidence presented to date.
“The allegations in this case are extremely disturbing and, if proven true, represent a profound betrayal of a child’s safety and trust. Children deserve to grow up free from exploitation and harm, and adults have a duty to protect them. My office will aggressively pursue justice for the victim and seek full accountability for the defendant,” said Peter J. Lucido.
Magistrate Zemke set bond at $250,000 cash or surety only. If Jordan is able to post bond, he will be subject to house arrest with a steel-cuff GPS tether. He must have no contact with the victim or anyone 17 years of age or younger.
Jordan is scheduled to appear for a Probable Cause Conference before Judge Carrie Lynn Fuca at the 41B District Court on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
