“Charging a juvenile as an adult is a serious decision that is made only after careful consideration of the facts and the law. Young people need to recognize that bad decisions can lead to consequences that last a lifetime. Choices made in a matter of seconds can forever change the lives of victims, families, and the young person involved,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
