Macomb County Prosecutor's Office Hosts Live Child Support Town Hall Event on Thursday, September 5, 2024 in Sterling Heights

Mount Clemens, MI - The Macomb County Prosecutor's Office is pleased to invite you to a live Child Support Town Hall event on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Velocity Center located at 6633 18 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights, MI 48314. Hosted by Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido and Family Division Unit Chief Kymberly Shinneman, this event is a valuable opportunity for families to connect with the Prosecutor’s Office and receive the support they need on critical child support matters.

"Our priority is to ensure that every family in our community has access to the support they need. Child support isn't just a financial obligation; it's a lifeline that can make all the difference in a child's life. We're here to help families navigate this process, address their concerns, and provide the guidance they need to move forward,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.

We understand that child support can be a lifeline for many families, and we're here to help. Prosecutor Lucido and Chief Shinneman will address a variety of topics designed to alleviate the challenges faced by those in need of collecting owed child support. Attendees will learn how to start a child support case, explore effective methods for collecting overdue support, and receive guidance on meeting their obligations. The session will also include a Q&A segment, giving participants the opportunity to express their concerns and receive personalized advice.
