Harrison Township Father Arraigned for Failing to Pay Child Support, Owes More Than $8K

Mount Clemens, MI - Todd Michael Gregor, age 40, has been arraigned for failing to pay child support on his minor child.
On Wednesday, July 2, 2014, Todd Michael Gregor was ordered by Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Kathryn George to pay $468.00 per month in child support for his minor child. His child support was suspended for three months in 2015 and a modification was made in 2016, lowering his monthly payment to $241.00. He allegedly owes $8,953.60 in back child support for his child. Gregor has had ten show cause hearings and five bench warrants issued in this case.
The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Todd Michael Gregor with Failing to Pay Child Support, a four year felony, after the Macomb County Friend of the Court exhausted their efforts to enforce the court order of paying child support.
Todd Michael Gregor was arraigned on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in 41B Clinton Township District Court by Magistrate Ryan Zemke where bond was set at $2,238. A Probable Cause Hearing is scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2024 at 8:30am by District Court Judge Sebastian Lucido.
"Ensuring that Macomb County children receive the financial support they deserve is our top priority. By helping noncustodial parents get back on track with their payments, we are not only upholding the law but also promoting the well-being and future of our children," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office Family Division handles felony nonsupport cases when a noncustodial parent owes over $5,000 in child support. To qualify for review, the case must involve an arrearage of $5,000 or more, failure to pay for three consecutive months, and the ability of the noncustodial parent to pay. The goal is to ensure children receive financial support from both parents and uphold justice.
