Mount Clemens, MI - A 39-year-old Fraser man was arraigned in connection with an assault on a 39-year-old woman.
It is alleged that on Sunday, April 28, 2024, Mario Davis picked the victim up in his vehicle. He allegedly threatened her at gunpoint and drove her to his Fraser residence where he sexually assaulted her multiple times.
Mario Davis was charged with three counts of First Degree of Criminal Sexual Conduct (life felonies) and three counts of Felony Firearm (two year mandatory felonies.) He was arraigned in 39th Fraser District Court by District Court Judge Alyia Hakim where bond was set at $500,000 cash/surety and if released the defendant must wear a GPS tether.
A Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 8:30am and a Preliminary Exam is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 8:30am.
"The act of criminal sexual conduct at gunpoint is a violation of trust and an assault on human dignity. We will vigorously pursue justice for the victim, and those who commit such crimes will face the full extent of the law," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
