The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office has made motions to waive jurisdiction of the juveniles to adult court.  A Pre-Trial is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 10:00 am before Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Matthew Switalski.

“The actions of these juveniles are not just illegal but also incredibly dangerous. This level of criminal activity is unacceptable, and we intend to treat it with the severity it deserves. That's why we are seeking to charge these juveniles as adults—because when you commit adult crimes, you face adult consequences," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.

The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office represents the People.  We are committed to achieving justice and following the laws of the State of Michigan. All that are accused of a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
