Mount Clemens, MI -  Former Fraser High School contract employee Robert William Lindsay, II pled no contest on all charges in connection with criminal sexual conduct with a student.

From January 2023 to October 2023, Lindsay had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.  He was charged with five counts of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, life felonies and two counts of Second Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, 15-year felonies.

Lindsay pled no contest to all charges.  A no contest plea is treated like a guilty plea at sentencing.  A Sentencing Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 9:00 am by Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Julie Gatti.

"A school employee—a person entrusted with the care and protection of students—has pled no contest to charges involving an inappropriate relationship with a young girl. Such behavior is not only illegal but deeply harmful. While this plea spares the victim from the pain of a trial, we will continue to ensure that justice is served," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.

The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office represents the People.  We are committed to achieving justice and following the laws of the State of Michigan.
